Project: Digitalization and Automation Initiative in the Mobility Segment
Objective:
Increase efficiency and achieve significant cost reductions in the workshop cost process through digitalization, automation, precise cost control between garages and leasing providers.
Project Scope:
As part of the IT project “SMR Invoice/Offer Verification”, I’m supporting Yarowa AG in building a fully automated solution for verifying workshop offers and invoices. The focus was on scalability, transparency, measurable savings (FTE reduction).
Core Tasks & Responsibilities:
- OCR extraction of offers and invoices (structuring, validation, data quality)
- Automated line-item verification using an integrated third-party web service
- Development of a rule-based decision logic (acceptance, routing, rejection)
- Building the Rules Engine including governance, parameterization, test concept
- Reporting & benchmarking (nationwide and regional) for continuous optimization
- Close collaboration with business units, developers, external partners
Results / Added Value:
- Significant FTE savings through automated verification processes
